How Did Handle That Ending?

Rich Flores Not at all in shock. I'm still in disappointment.

Marc Lanotte The cliffhanger was fine. If they come back with a full episode about Morgan and Carol, then that's the end for for me.

Allyson Carter I think it was an awesome episode, minus the Carol/Morgan bit. To see Rick slowly realize how big and bad the Saviors are and they were surrounded, helpless, and end up literally on his knees..
That was the point of the episode, not who dies. We all see how far spread the Saviors are and get to meet Negan.
They've never encountered anything like this, and to do it all in one episode wouldn't do it justice. Regardless, we know one of his people got bashed in the dome after Rick went looking for this fight, and I can't wait to see the ramifications next season.

Margie Brown I'm surprised at how many people don't get the psychological nature of this episode. Negan was playing with them, like cat and mouse, letting them know, you can't run, you can't hide, this is my world now. It built the tension to the final moment when they were in the woods and the whistling started. Blood, gore, lots of murder, we've seen that, a lot this season. There was a much deeper story line going on here about the price of Rick's arrogance. This was a much more nuanced cliff hanger. I've read the comics, and I've watched TWD from the beginning. I think this was a great episode, it reveals a "New World order" Negan's world. It is dark and scary and I think it's going to get darker, scarier and even more brutal. The thing to fear is the survivors of the apocalypse, the zombies are not the scariest thing anymore.

Dimitri Toumaras To be fair, while the ending of the episode was disappointing (the distorted sounds of Lucille's skull crushing and the groups' screaming kinda made up for it), the build up was excellent. Andrew Lincoln and Jeffrey Dean Morgan killed it, their acting was superb, especially Lincolns in the final scene. First time I felt afraid while watching TWD in a long time

Steven Taylor it's 2016..spoilers happen alot more often than a few years ago...whoever got beaten to death by the bat will be leaked all over the internet in the next SIX MONTHS...it will be really disappointing seeing it on the internet & not on AMC..that was a cheap cop out that ruined the iconic comic moment that could have been so shocking..couldve had a cliffhanger but made it happen after you showed who died..

Gina Marie Rice If I remember correctly, Negan has a thing against killing women and children. So Carl and none of the women are harmed. It won't be Rick because that's who Negan is making a point to. In the comics it's Glenn who gets his head bashed in, but they don't always follow the comics so who knows. I really feel like it's going to be a main cast member since this is a major scene and it's supposed to be emotional, so that excludes Abraham and Eugene. I'm thinking Daryl or Glenn. I could be wrong though! I'm hoping it's neither of them. Glenn is my favorite

Dave Einherjar Mužík Yes! How could you?!!! Everyone thought that one of the characters will die but you kill of the camera man?! What did he ever do to the makers of TWD?!!!

Bryan Dugan McGonigle Not so much "in shock" as disappointed that TWD would air such a bad season finale with such low-end gimmicks. Most of the episode was weak, yet it was extended to 90 minutes to fit more commercials not more story, and then with no reward because TWD decided to leave it with that cheesy cliffhanger. Maybe it was to make fans talk about it all summer and come back, as if you don't trust the fanbase support, which is stupid because the fans always come back every season. This just kicked them in the face and diminished the show, no matter how much money you pay Chris Hardwick to try to sell it.

Michaelangelo Miller Shocked? Over what? That no show death? Or the fact you think so little of us fans you had to pull that gimmicky ending to extend something next season, that should have ended this season? If that's the case, yeah, super shocked. Because I sure as hell wasn't shocked about that ending, just felt cheated. All that build up and cool Negan monologue for naught.
